IPOH: The agent provocateur who helped nab two former PKR state executive council (exco) members and four others for corruption had no issue with the hiring of prostitutes by the then Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).

Businessman Mohamad Imran Abdullah, 34, told the Sessions Court here on Tuesday that he merely followed instructions from ACA enforcement officer Mohd Firdaus Idris.

”On Aug 13, 2008, Firdaus told you that he would arrange for accommodation and the services of immoral women.

”Were you not puzzled that a government department could do that? Or did you know of their plans?” Mohamad Imran was asked by defence counsel Surjan Singh during cross-examination.

In his testimony previously, Mohamad Imran had told the court that Firdaus had arranged for an apartment in Batu Feringgi for Perak Tengah district councillor Zul Hassan, 45, businessman Fairul Azrim Ismail, 31, and Perak Development Corporation technician Ruslan Sahat to stay in.

Arrangements were also made for three Chinese national women to go along with them on the trip, the court was told.
